For the most part yes - but believe it or not, I have heard preaching at men in the past as well.

In the distant past, long sleeves and absolutely NO form of short pants. In the more recent past, tattoos and piercings.

Where you been? I thought you gave up on the rag-tag assemblage of ... whatever... it is that we are.

For "The most part"?? If you call 90% "The most part", I agree.

Mr. Pel, you were the primary reason I stayed on the forum after my initial rant about a family member. You remain the smartest man on the planet with the wisdom to know how to use it.

I certainly learn a lot from him.

Re: Forum Poll, Please Vote

I would probably be considered a "con", but I really can't vote on this, as my views are not represented by the poll. I believe in the basic three steps, however, there is far more to it than that.
I do believe in basic modesty for men and women, but modesty is far more that outward appearance.
I have attended UPCI churches, most of my life, I know many of the current leaders, personally, but I cannot say that I agree with the UPCI 100%.
I have been around this forum, since the first Faithchild with Jim, but really see no point in posting, anymore. One thing that I have learned over the years is that debating on a forum is generally a waste of time, since most minds are already made up.

I've seen your posts, although there aren't many, and you're the kind that aren't saying much here anymore. What would make you post more?

Bad Poll. I would argue "The UPC" is not entirely monolithic in thought or even doctrine. Like it or not while we all believe Act 2:38 , there have been and still are a variety of ways it is seen in regards to justification and salvation. (see my signature line)

I am a firm believer in the Old Paths

I agree - too limiting. I cannot even begin to vote once, much less 3 times.

....in your opinion. Not in mine.

Do you really believe there is an active and accepted school of thought within the UPC of what is required for salvation?
