not sure about either of them. Internation church doesn't have a belief statement and Canyon Ridge's belief statement doesnt say anything about the gift being for today.

I was thinking of checking out Calvary Chapel.
About how many services will this be for?

I guess if it is only one or two I wouldn't spend too many minutes agonizing over what church to attend. Shoot, if it was only one Sunday I would just say skip it.

One Sunday.

I want to worship God with other believers on Sunday. I prefer a church that believes being Spirit-filled means Spirit baptism is accompanied by speaking in tongues or at the very least is not a cessationist believing church.

I'm pretty sure Calvary Chapel believe that the gifts are for today.

What do you believe, Mr Smith?

I believe the gifts are for today. I've never met a Christian who believes otherwise.

I know some good Christians who do not believe healing, prophecy, speaking with tongues, etc. are for today. I don't agree with them but respect their right to believe that.

The only church/chapel we stepped foot in was the one we were married in, the Forever Grand at the MGM Grand hotel.
