Keep your Holy Ghost?
The Holy Ghost who comes in when we are saved to seal us unto the redemption of the purchased possession will leave or abandon us if we wear the wrong style clothing? Can we drive Him off or run Him off by putting on the wrong clothing? How then do we entice Him back? by putting on the right style clothing? Does God's abiding presence really depend on what we took out of the closet and put on ourselves that day?

God is concerned about dress. If you don't believe this then why did he have certain garments commanded for the priesthood ( Kohanim) ? If Almighty God is NOT concerned about Dress then why is it that the first thing commanded concerning a woman that is suspected of adultery is to uncover her head? ( Numbers 5: 18).

Like you did?
Too bad men can't look Christian.
I don't think there is anyone who is sincerely trying to follow God who will deny that modesty is a good thing. But the idea that we must have a certain dress code so that everyone can spot us (women only) in a crowd is not Biblical.
And what about the women who sport the look, but their heart is anything but holy? I have known women who had hair to their knees, skirts to their ankles, sleeves to their wrists.... and went trolling for men in stores, planning rendezvous to meet them later. Married women. I've also known women who didn't meet the Apostolic "look" standard, but who would never consider being anything but faithful to their husbands. Who were true Christians, to the bone. If I were going to ask one of them for prayer, I'd choose the latter.
Jesus (who should know) said that we would be known by our love one for another, not our clothing styles.

Since we are all Priesthood now, should we wear robes too?
What do you think the purpose of that was?
How did Jesus view the way this was fleshed out over centuries, by the time he came to Jerusalem?

If God is so concerned about dress why did Jesus not adress clothing during his 33 years! Why are we not given a detailed guiedline even in the old testament on what to wear?? The only time Jesus talks about dress is when he tells the Pharisee about the wrong in LOOKING holy!

Sister , why do you only point out the unrighteousness of people dressed in Holiness ? Would you rather have a fence around the Dangerous mountain curves..... or an ambulance in the valley? Holiness Dress is NOT THE PROBLEM ! Do not buy in to the Anti- Holiness Charismatic smoke screen.

I don't "only point out the unrighteousness.... of... whatever". I point out that the "right" clothing doesn't necessarily mean we are holy inside. And that we don't have the right to judge someone just because we don't think they are dressed "holy". We could very well be making a wrong assumption. The one who isn't "dressed holy according to our guidelines" could very well be the one who could actually reach Heaven for us.

It bothers me that she interprets it to mean that there was a "spirit attached" to the black clothing. No, it was the attitude with which she put on the black clothing that was incorrect.
*sigh*
Clothing doesn't put a persona on us; it reveals the persona we already have.

I agree. It seems that she does reveal her "bad" spirit which subsequently leads her to select the outfits she has chosen. The "outward appearance" is often deliberately chosen to reflect what the wearer feels on the inside. I used to do this when selecting what tie to wear. Some moods called for a brighter presentation, usually however I was more "sedate."
The tie didn't make me feel any particular way. The way I felt determined the tie I chose. Silly, but there it is. I think these blogstresses might benefit from examining themselves in this light.
They advocate "looking like a Christian." I suspect they feel "like a Christian" in their hearts and thus seek to select their wardrobes accordingly. That's great.
Where they should be cautious however, is when they see another believer who perhaps doesn't fit their mold. There may be many forces at work here. It could be that the other believer's cultural views are simply different. It may be that they are consciously, or perhaps unconsciously, trying to send a "message." Or, as in my case, it may simply be sloth and not goth.
Whatever the circumstances - the blogstresses should seek to reach the heart, not the garment. Getting preachy about clothes creates a stifling atmosphere of legalism and oppression. It's better to lift up hearts toward our Savior. Save the sartorial and gossipy stuff for the mall rats.

Sister we need to be very careful since we are living in an age of deception. The Anti- Holiness ,Charismatic , pants on the " ladies" , paint, Jezebel crowd would like you to believe that they are more spiritual than us "Pharisee" Holiness Preachers.
From what several brethren have observed concerning AFF, this is a place for rebellious, Anti - Holiness propaganda to be endorsed by people that evidently never believed the Message to begin with.
