Re: TBN Mess

This thread is getting hilarious.

But I really love the whole "you are afforded the protection of your screen" mumbo jumbo. Nothing like someone flexing behind their screen at another guy. I can almost smell that old locker room from High School in those moments. Ahhh... Praise Jesus. The swords are in hand in here.

Re: TBN Mess

This reminds me of Bible school days. I remember the first year there, just a few weeks after moving in, a couple guys got in a knock-down, drag-out fist fight over something, I never heard what it was about. The next morning one of the guys had to preach in the student chapel service.

So what you're saying is that when the Evang. gives an altar call he'll be the first one to have to go?

Years ago at TBC, a ministerial student (from a UPC church) gave another ministerial student (from an ALJC church in Ohio) a bad time because he was not UPC but going to a UPC school. Another ministerial student (from another ALJC church in Ohio) responded by beating up the UPC ministerial student. Now that UPC student is a non-UPC pastor in Texas. The ALJC student who was made fun of is in Kentucky and not currently going to church although there are several competing UPC and other OP churches there in that area who have split off from one another and fought one another over the years. I don't know where the ALJC student from Ohio is that did the beating up.

If the ALJC's standards were a little higher, he could probably beat people up and still not have to repent. Or maybe even crucify someone. Ok j/k =P

It never ceases to amaze me how people can swallow the camels so to speak. I mean HUGE camels, and strain at the gnats. Not just ALJC, but every christian denom out there.

Talk about missing the point!
