I suggest reading Eph 4.

How about pastoring for 22 years and having nothing to show for it. Do you know anyone like that? Think, think real hard. Know anyone who has been pastoring for 15 to 22 years, or maybe longer, and has nothing to show for it?
The ones who throw years around sound as if they been working as a doctor, or lawyer for 14 years. Listen friend, anyone who has been running the road, with wife and children, and having no idea what to expect when they get to a home mission or large church have enough understanding of life in the Apostolic movement. They just have it from the other side of the pulpit.
They get to deal with more pastors than most people do in three lifetimes.
they stay in their homes, find out about what their families are like, how giving or not giving they are. Find out how they treat people as guests.
The evangelist works with everyone, from pastor to saint in more than one area. While years do gain experience no matter what a man is doing, years misspent and doing our jobs the wrong way, make for wasted years.






Doesn't say much for the evangelists you know.



Absolute truth? Did any of these men go out into the street and bring anyone to church while they were with you? Did they stay with you for a month? Two months? No, as you said they blow in and blow out. Or as you put it love em and leave em.




Wow, who do you have come preach for you? Forget love em and leave em, it sounds like you have drive by shootings. Listen, do yourself and other preachers a favor, don't invite anyone to your pulpit. It sounds like you sure can't pick em.

Been doing it for five years, April 17th was our fifth year anniversary.





That I've been doing for 10 years, and have been doing street ministry for 14 years. Preaching to the vagrants of South and Central Florida. How many homeless have you put up? I have been on a 24hr call me anytime policy for 14 years.



I have been full time for 16 years.




Like I said, you don't know me.



My wife and I love what we do and our children don't view our lifestyle as some cat-o-nine-tails across the back life.

For example, you've said "Would of" rather than, "Would have" at least 40 or 50 times. I was going to go through it all and point out every single mistake, much like you've parsed up the posts of others, but I realized you made so many that it was going to take me hours to point out your errors.

I don't know this Evangelist, but he plainly tells it like it is...who cares if he spells correctly!! Reminds me of quite a few preachers in the Bible! I'm sure most of them were thought of as rude, uneducated, arrogant etc.....

No, I think his multitudes of mistakes are relevant. He flies in here in the First Class Section of his 747 of Correction and Superiority Airlines, and shows everyone where they are wrong on everything.

He points out the sticks in the eyes of others while being unable to notice his own eyes that are faulty. He can't even write, "In Jesus' Name" correctly, for crying out loud. I think he should value the name of Jesus enough that he would care to write it correctly.

I'm thinking of having him come speak at our church. Maybe NotForSale and I could split the airfare and expenses.

You're right. I don't have much formal education. I dropped out of High School, worked in a motorcycle shop and hung around bikers most of my youth. So, my grammer is lacking, yet, my words still clipped your ego, and that why you resorted to the last remnant of flaw you could find to dig into.
You asked me questions and I answered them. You most likley thought the Holy Ghost was guiding you when you posted to me and thought you were dead on. Yet, alas, you dropped the watermelon.
