Congress Exempted From New HC Bill

Is anyone surprised? The Congress is exempted from being forced into the gov't plan. They keep their prime healthcare package. That includes all former Congressmen and women and current members staffers.

Remember the campaign promise that we would be given the same package that BO had? I know, telling lies to get elected is just a part of the process. We all should just shut up and join with the 35% who support this HC plan and get in the Kool-Aid line with them.

I hadn't read that, but I was wondering what was going to happen with that. It definitely does not surprise me one bit. I can't see any congressman/woman shunning their golden egg (FEHBP) received by the Navy in their own secluded medical office on the hill. I'm just waiting to see what is going to happen to us military dependents. What changes will happen? Will there be any changes? Now I will say just like those in congress the military has their own pharmacy that they go to, however, the benefits I receive are nothing compared to theirs. My eye care consists of covering $99 just to let me know that I need glasses. Prescription lenses, frames, and contacts are not even covered not 1 penny. On the other hand there are active duty military people that can get the government to pay for a boob job. Our system is just as whack as can be.

I would love to know how to get a bill passed that outlaws any government employee or anyone else being exempted from any bill they vote on. If they vote for it they should be held by the same laws, no exemptions!
