But then again, since The Eternal will not be running in 2012, you're right, I can't name any Republican that can beat Obama in 2012. That's okay, they don't have to, because he's going to beat himself.

I'd like to see Newt Gingrich run. I think Newt could do well and I'd vote for him. In addition I'd look for Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin, Jeb Bush, Duncan Hunter, and maybe Mike Huckabee to return to the scene.
Well slick, after the way his popularity has fallen coupled with his spitting on all the seniors in this country with this "Obama-care" garbage, it won't take much of a candidate to send him packing in 2012.
You really think he will get a second term after he plans on signing a bill that will take multiple BILLIONS of dollars from Medicare? You think that won't make all those seniors angry enough refuse to vote for him? Democrats survive by buying the senior and minority votes. His Obamacare will anger half of those bought votes.
Not to mention, after the 2010 elections he will no longer have a filibuster proof majority in senate. He will be booted out and known for the rest of time as the POTUS worse than Carter.

I wouldn't support Newt after he sided with the crazy lib in the New York runoff election over Hoffman.
Jeb has yet to show any real interest hasn't he? Huck scares me with some of his comments. He was very open about saying he would happily change the Constitution to be more Christian. I think we ought to leave the Constitution as it is.
I think Mitt will com eon strong. Hunter wouldn't surprise me. Palin will try, but I think her base will eventually see she is energizing, but not the right person for the POTUS.
I think it may be someone completely out of left field that takes the spotlight.
