I have no problem with anything you have posted. I've never commented on anything you said that I know of. And I have no problem if you "think opposite" of what I think, if, in fact, you do. No sir, if you think opposite of me, thats not a burden in the least. I afford you the right to believe as you feel you should believe. And respect you for what you believe. And, would hope you would afford me the same curtesy, if in fact, you knew one thing about what I believe or don't believe.

One thing I won't do, brother. I would ever say something like "Whoa unto you ye hypocrites" to you. Especially since I know nothing about you or what you believe.

People here seem to be like minded? How encouraging. I believe that is a trait God is looking for in His people.
If you'll notice I posted a kudos to you before i read this response...I double checked to be sure my post wasn't attached to a quote, which it wasn't...again my apologies of offending you brother...I didn't at all mean that you were a hypocrite...I complimented your post. It was the hypocrisy of the responses to different posts and the manner of response that I was referring to...notice i said of offending and not if I offended...can't stand doublespeak either...lol!

Then, Bro. Joe, I should apologize to you as well. Thank you for the kudos. Lesson learned here: I should THINK before I draw my gun. God bless you, brother.

Joe 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
Joe 2:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
Joe 2:30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
Joe 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
Joe 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
In explaining this Peter went on to accuse them of crucifying the lord, they were then overcome with guilt and ask Peter how they can rectify their wrong. The answer was to repent. Plain and simple. Baptism is the seal that we perform before God just as circumcision was to Abraham. Romans 4:10-11. We are them promised the gift of the spirit of God when we beleive, it is automatic. Speaking in tongues was not the sign of recieving the spirit of God. Just my humble opinion.
To say one has not received Gods spirit because they have not spoken in tongues is putting your self up as judge and we are not to judge. I have known many that had more of Gods spirit that did not speak in tongues than many that speak in tongues. The word says we shall know them by thier fruits not if they speak in tongues.
Maybee if we quit drawing a line in the sand between trinitarians we would have more luck showing them the oneness than telling them they are lost.
I'm sorry but as I read this post I feel you are spiritually blind.
So incorrect concerning salvation an the tongues being the initial sign.

Forgive me, just being Honest.

Trinitarians can remain trinitarians and still go to Heaven.

Tounges is not the intial sign of the Holy Ghost

Baptisim isn't as important to be Jesus name only.

Jesus may not be God, possibly a second...

Appearance doesn't matter to God

Its not a sin for women to:
Cut their hair
Wear Pants
Jewelry
Make-Up

did I miss anything?

An yet they still insist they are Apostolic.
Again, see:

Long before you and I were ever born, the Apostolics of the Apostolic Faith Movement were baptizing their converts and reciting Matthew 28:19, and NOT Acts 2:38, when they did so. These people were sincere Trinitarians, except for the out and out tritheists among them.

Most of the "holiness standards" that they followed you laugh about today (people wearing the color red, no seamless hosiery, etc.) while your own standards (women's uncut hair) was still another 30 or 40 years away from being invented.

No apoligy needed I think I know where you are comming from. But the blinders are on those that can't see beyond there own traditions and single minded doctrines to see if anyone else has the spirit of God or not.

1Jn 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1Jn 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

We don't do this instead if they have not obeyed Acts 2:28 as we see it then they must not be saved. Jesus did not say you must speak in tongues and be baptised to be saved.

Joh 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
Joh 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

But then thats ok I you can keep beleiving what you do but I have found many Christians that are as close to God if not closer to God than many Apostolics that I was raised with. Where God is not waiting to throw is in hell is we slip and fall. And my salvation is not determined on whether I dress a certain way or not. Which I might coment on is based on the whim of what ever the pastor that I or you are sitting under feels is sin or not.

Forgive me just being honest
