Yes, I have changed my views but perhaps I am less dogmatic about them this time around.

The only thing I know for sure is that the Redskins losing yesterday was one of the best things I have seen this week.
and on this I strongly agree!

Amazing how much you don't know that you don't know at that age.
I was a catholic then, maybe I should have held onto all that.

Personally I was psyched when the pope decided we didn't really have to eat fish every friday.

You just have to understand that Jesus was praying to the Father.....no wait.....Jesus was the Father but he wanted the disciples to.......hold on.....Jesus was a manifestation and then there was this other manifestation that was in.......uuuhhhhh.....but there aren't persons and Jesus wasn't a person....wait, I mean, yes he was, but the Father isn't a person, but Jesus is.....what I mean is, the Father IS a person, has to be, but Jesus wasn't the same kind of person but the Father was a spirit and Jesus was praying to the Father that was in him 'cause the Father wasn't actually in heaven at the time......not wait, Jesus said to say "Our Father which art in heaven....."

Can anyone help here?

Re: What I have learned from AFF

Here's what I have learned about young Elder Cox...

1. He doesn't know his Bible, can't debate honestly and hasn't learned to respect his elders..

2. He comes here to stir it up and draw attention to himself, just so he can stand on his soapbox over at www.apostolicpreachers.com and beat his chest about how apostate everyone here is.

3. He has accused many good people falsely, without even attempting honest dialogue.

It is true, though, isn't it? 19 year olds are pretty green behind the ears....

Mr. Cox, you need to forget what you've been told and just get to know the PEOPLE who post on this forum. Many are conservative--probably more conservative than you--and you would be surprised to know which ones they are. Almost ALL are God-loving Christians, who love the Word and serve Him to the best of their knowledge and ability. THAT should be respected, even when we don't agree on the details.

My father was a conservative Apostolic, and he discussed, debated and argued with his minister friends more times than I could ever count--and they were still friends at the end of the day. Discussion doesn't always reveal a person's viewpoint, either--I've played the devil's advocate a few times just to make a point or to push the parameters a bit.

Usually people fear discussion when they're afraid they might be wrong.

Did you not read the thread where me, alfar, and randy should make our case? I posted a long post with scriptural support that was of course overlooked.

Please tell me who my Elders are on AFF?
