$79 million--- to crash a spacecraft. Just amazing....... don't even get me started.... this is even more irritating to me than the nobel prize story that made headlines today.

With that money they could have sent a check for how much to people who work but are about to lose their homes? Or spent how much to research a cure for cancer? Instead....we shot it at the moon to see if there were any infinitely small amounts of water molecules in the dust there.

Nice investment. Good job US Government. You guys are doing a wonderful job.

It's not about colonizing the moon, it's about using it as a base site to launch a manned Mars mission.
