God's got plenty of kids in DC and a lot of them are lawyers, I went to Catholic mass with one during lunch not too long ago.

What did you think of the mass?

(I went to parochial school for 5 years and was raised Catholic)

It was an experience. It made me realize that we have almost as many traditions as they do. I had never been before. But I was in a class with Walter Weber and he opened every morning with a catholic devotional reading and always went to mass at noon, so one day I just went with him.

I grew up in an old school Catholic church where much of the mass was said in Latin. I remember a lot of sitting, standing, and kneeling. Going to confession. Saying penance before a statue.

I don't want to go back to that. No way.

Our sunday School class went to mass one time. It was interesting.
