That's terrible. I had 3 bacterial sinus infections last year, never had that much of a problem before! The first one, the antibiotics didn't work, and I had to take a second (extended) round. I was miserable.
Anyway...I took Mucinex DM, and now I'm wondering if I can take Benadryl with it, because there's no antihistamine in the night time Mucinex. *going to look it up on a drug interaction chart*

That sounds good!!!!!!!
Today I was sitting at the table with the kids, and I whined, "I wish someone would put ME to bed with chicken soup for a couple of days." The girls both said, "I will", and then Jeffrey said, "No, I WANT TO!" I told them they'd still have to do their school work, and they all three chorused, "Aw man!"

Re: Any Hot Topics for a Cold Night?
I had an enjoyable day. I've been prepping for a new diet I'm gonna start February 1st.
Unfotunately, I had to cancel church tonight. I rarely do so, but the last time we had church right after an ice storm, Sister Jericho fell and busted her sitdownski outside.

Re: Any Hot Topics for a Cold Night?
MissBratt, You should try Myrhh Gum capsules. You can't take them every day-- but you can take them for up to 7 days at a time. They will knock out sinus and ear infections and allergy type problems in practically no time. An online friend told me about them, and I was amazed at how well and how fast they worked! My husband even took them for a toothache and it completely cleared up an abcessed tooth in under 48 hours-- so that the tooth could be extracted. The dentist was amazed. It also works for arthritis pain & swelling.
If there's any chance you could be pregnant-- don't use it.
Do a little research online and let me know what you think....

Re: Any Hot Topics for a Cold Night?
I spent the day thinking about my life and what I have/have not accomplished so far. I got to thinking about what I would consider the greatest accomplishment of my life.
That got me depressed, cause I don't feel successful at all.
I do take joy in my children. I have great kids. God has been good. I suppose they are one of the few things I've done right.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it. I do NOT like taking antibiotics, and 3 rounds (actually 4, counting the redo) in a year seems like overkill to me.

Now might be a very good time to teach them how to care for their future spouses when they are sick. Let them pamper mom while she's sick for practice.... Call it a health lesson...... Life skills 101.... whatever....

Thank you for thinking of Sister Jericho.... I'm sure she appreciates that since history tends to repeat itself sometimes.....
The last time we've had enough of anything here to cancel a church service was in 93 or 94-- whenever that ice storm was that left us without electricity for 14 days. Before that, it was when I was 16.....
I kinda like living here... it does have some advantages.
