Dearest Friends:
Sweetest greetings to you all in the precious name of Jesus. Those of you who have followed our monthly letters will remember last year we baptized an entire trinity church in the precious Name of Jesus. After this happened we rented them a little building and each month they have raised the rent money among themselves. These people are some of the poorest people we have ever worked with and believe me we have worked for 40 years with very poor people. The lease on the building will be up in just a month or so and they are asking me to write and ask for your help. They desperately need money to buy a lot and build them a little church. I think the church with them doing the work can be built for around 5,000.00 dollars and a lot in that area cost around 2000.00 dollars. These are some of the finest people I have ever met. After they were baptized their former organization kicked them out so they lost their building and all…They have now been faithful to us and the doctrine and are growing in numbers and have opened another daughter work and rented another building in another area. These people are workers!
I am asking you to help us pray that God will lay it on someone’s heart to help these people. They are our brothers and sisters in the Lord and love Jesus so much. I am reminded of the words of the Bible where it says,
Neh. 8:10 “Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength”.
We must rush into the high strongholds of Satan where thousands of precious people die under the terror of Satan and his forces, unless we reach out to them. Jesus told us to go into all the world and rescue the perishing. He gave us His power and His word. Will you respond by unselflessly pouring out your life on behalf of others? Will you pray that those who are groping in darkness will see Jesus the great Light? Will you give, sacrificing some of your own pleasures, that they might have life and a church building?
It is true that there are hundreds of needs and I am only a connecting joint between them and the American church. They call me, write me, e mail me telling me their needs and believing that I will write a letter and try to help them.
Our King is calling us to take His fame to the ends of the earth. I deeply love Him and His work. Pray for us and thanks to all that respond to the needs of the people that have no means to help themselves. Your response to help them is an answer to their sincere prayers.
