At 5:00 I'm going to watch "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" on the Hallmark channel. I've heard it's suppose to be really good.

I also used today to refuel. This was the first day all week that I wasn't risking frostbite standing outside by the pump. Afterwards I was working on pine wood derby cars.
Now I'm watching the paint dry. Great fun!

My lovely bride and I left Oakdale at 3:30 A.M. this morning and headed for Palestine, Tx. on a round trip to pick up our car there an then come back hjome. We arrived hoime at about 2:30 P.M.
New Years eve we where traveling from Dallas to Port Neches to be with my wife's sisters family. As I accelerated to pass a slow truck....no transmission. So we had it towed to a shop there the Monday after New Years...everything was closed until then. It seems to work fine now.....after a large repair bill.
When we got home I decided to take my FIL with me to cut some fire wood. I went by the lot yesterday to make sure it was dry enough. As we drove in all was fine then splattttt........up to the axles on the drivers side. $ wheel drive was of no use. I got a guy to come pull us out. What an ordeal!!! But all is well.
Just ate a beautiful supper of pork roast and am just gonna let the evening ease by. Enough movement and excitement for the day...........

I just got a call for a date tonight!
My son is "home alone" and wants me to come over and see their new leather couches that was delivered for their media room. He's ordered a pizza and we're going to watch a movie on his big flat screen.
Too sweet he doesn't mind hanging out with his mom!

We spent all day at a neighbouring UPC Church in another city.
They were hosting a children's prayer revival & a lot of kids from other Churches were there.
My wife & I dropped off the kids & went to a restaurant to have Brunch & we were going to go home & come back in the late afternoon to pick up the kids when we decided to drop back & check on the kids.
Turns out it was lunchtime & they were eating & right before lunch they had an altar call after the session & many kids were touched including mine.
The one I was most pleased & surprised at was my son Ryan!
It was the first time he was touched by the Lord!
We decided to stay for the rest of the sessions.
What is amazing was it was put on by a young couple who it turns out was there first time in stepping out in a ministry of this nature!
God is good!
