I'm not agains't THE WPF ,if they are reaching people and staying true to their convictions,Praise God for that.
To me media in itself is neither good nor evil but the wrong usage of it is what is wrong.

Here's the problem with wpf. When Larry Booker says a cop in his church arrested dozens of people for downloading child pornography and all he says is we have to teach our church leaders about the dangers of the internet. Then he turns around and says television ban should not be lifted because of the evils on the screen, something is wrong.

It's not the wpf was created because a group of people had nowhere to go. The wpf was created because people had problem losing control.

I have never heard of anyone getting to any kind of trouble or any marriages breaking up b/c of things that were seen on TV. However the list of similar problems due to internet are endless. I agree with Scott H. I have no problem with the WPF, I just dont see the reasoning in bashing the use of TV. The same scripture thats used to preach against TV apllies much more to internet, I mean here we are adicted to AFF it has become a form of worship!

All the WPF is is what the UPCI suppose to of been.. but they backed up the bus.

The potential evil of a media (internet) does not justify tv.

If you want tv.. Watch it.. but don't ridicule Preachers who aren't changing.

And btw.. I do understand this kind of post rubs 95% or more of Pentecost the wrong way.

We should careful of our attitude towards each other and so much more towards leaders. I just heard a great message this sunday about "honor" as in respecting God, each other, our children, spouse etc.... Was really God. Can't be blessed disrepecting others.

I agree. We need to just be Christian.. and have common courtesy. AFF isn't especially know for that.

You mentioned insecurity, pride and being a novice. It comes down to.. IMHO.. A disdain for authority and not wanting to submit to a Man of God.
