1. Apostolic Life Tabernacle, Atascosita, TX
2. They are having a Christmas banquet, but have no trees.
3. No, not if it were a Christmas gift.

So, what are they going to celebrate at this Christmas banquet?

So far as I know, they are just eating and fellowshipping. No gifts and no trees. I already discussed this with my pastor, and he understood my stance.

Do they call it a "CHRIST-MAS" banquet?
Do they sing Christmas carols?
Are there any decorations?

Yes, no, and no. Look, I am not going to bring my home church into this. AFF has a history of people calling my pastor. I wish these folks would address me, and leave my church family out of it.
And, if you must know, it is called the Christmas banquet.

I am addressing you. I've never called anyone's pastor.
Do you see the inconsistency of your stance here again, BIll?
YOu made the broad statement that CHristmas was a pagan celebration, and we as the church should never take part in it. YOu said it wasn't about the tree, it was about the celebration.
And, yet, you're going to a banquet at your church that is being celebrated at Christmas time, and it's called a CHRISTMAS banquet!!!!!!!!!!!!
Come on, Bill, if you really believe what you're saying, you won't even go to be a part of such travesty.

Re: We're Not Putting X-Mas Trees Up!
Excuse me. I did not say I was going. In fact, I excused myself from the banquet. How about asking before you insert foot in mouth? I guess you liberals are willing to hate that much that you put words in people's mouths. But, then again, I have learned to expect such from this place.
I stand by my statements, that Christmas is pagan, and we should not celebrate it. My church is not celebrating this day, but are celebrating fellowship. But, in the mind of the perverse, this stance would be compromising. But, to the pure, all things are pure, and to the liberal, nothing is pure.
One more time, I am not attending the banquet. I excused myself. now, you may proceed placing foot in mouth.

Well, thanks for the clarification, Bill. I didn't see anywhere in your posts where you said you weren't attending the banquet, but I respect your conviction.
HOwever, I do take issue with one thing you said - to the pure, all things are pure.
Wouldn't this cover the Christian who has a Christmas tree and celebrates Christmas as the birth of Christ? Or, does that only apply to you?
