Does your church have a steeple?
Do you preach against steeples?

No steeples. They were supposed to be used to denote a Masonic associated church. You are correct to the Egyptian steeple, on the Mormon temple in Salt Lake, there are six spires, to denote the sixth day of man and beast.
This is done to show that it's a religion created by men.

It does speak against cutting down a tree and decorating it in the good book. I think it's in Isaiah

Re: We're Not Putting X-Mas Trees Up!
Christmas doesn't mean as much to me as it used to.
I'd much rather have 2 Thanksgiving Holidays and Easter.
I don't consider having a Christmas tree damnable, but I don't have one, I don't want one. I'll be alright without it.
I do decorate for the holiday.
When I do get a wife and kids and dog and stuff, our lives won't be more fulfilled by the presence of the stupid thing anyway.
For the author of this thread, your use of the term "X-Mas" is highly offensive to me.
It would be within the realm of fostering unity and peace to change "X-Mas" to "Christmas", being that we are all, at a bare minimum anyway, "Christians".
Will you please recognize and honor Jesus Christ, on this Christian forum, by referring to the day we set aside to celebrate His birth as "Christmas"?
Please.

These cats are caught up in the, "I'm holier than thou.", spirit. They just can't see it. It a stench in God's nostrils that is far worse than a family decorating a Christmas tree on a cold evening after dad reads the Christmas story from the family Bible.

Brother Benincasa, do you have a "pulpit" in your church? And do you preach a "sermon" or does your preacher preach a "sermon"? Both are deeply rooted in pagan practice.

Obviously, there wasn't an understanding of "Mass." Mass simply means to celebrate the Eucharist or, in other words, have communion. As an Apostolic/Pentecostal, we don't use the word "Mass" to label our services, nor do we call our communion service "The Eucharist." Even so, our church sets aside a certain day of the year for communion just as we sat aside a day to celebrate the birth of Jesus. No, we aren't celebrating a "baby" as was another prior accusation, we celebrate the fact the God robed Himself in flesh, came to earth so we could be redeemed.
Neck, we are on the same page when it comes to celebrating Christmas.

George.
Amen!
I respect you in so many other ways as well...
God Bless!

WE, antipas should all strive to be holier than thou, to holy as he is holy. without holiness no one is going to heaven. I want to be holier than you all. That is what i strive for while I journey on this old terrestrial ball.
