It has been answered many times. Both OS & AS are all right between two married [male & female couple] people as long as both are willing and enjoy it. The Marriage bed is undefiled.

IS that specific enough for you?

ILG - You hit the nail on the head! The world creeps into the church by making us insensitive to Godly boundaries. Blessings, Rhonda

Well no need to get an attitude dear. I along with thousands of people here in the south of all denominations have been taught this was wrong. I have read and studied and I agree with you. But I try hard to undersatnd every ones point. You can always learn something.

Setting aside the strict moral/scriptural aspect for a moment....a 60% increased chance of colorectal cancer is a significant risk. Since our body is the temple of God (1 Cor 3:16), it is our responsibility to maintain it properly and not do things to endanger our health and our lives. Indeed, scripture also says a man should love his wife as his own flesh.. [Eph 5:28-29]... so he should always be looking out for her well being, physically and spritually.

In light of this it might be fair to ask : Why would a woman want to engage in this activity if she knows it increases her cancer risk by this much [endangering the well-being of God's temple]? And why would a man want to increase the risk of his wife getting colorectal cancer by doing this, simply for the sake of "spicing up" their relationship?

Some might debate the A.S. issue on moral/scriptural grounds, but I think the medical aspect of this is something to consider also.

That is what seperates me from those who have sex with an "IP" address.

I do not need scriptures, laws, prenup agreements to keep me from pursuing other desires.

I spend my time pursing the intimacy and fullfilment that comes only with honest and pure intimacy with my wife.

Without this intimacy, so many ladies resent their husbands.

So many men resent their wives.

It is why sex to them will never reach to fullfillment in their lives.

They are on the wrong road of pursuit.

We are not to pursue sex but to pursue love......
Neck, you have written some brilliant posts.

Brilliance to me is the light of understanding.

Faith comes by hearing.

Understanding comes by the practice of actions.

understanding is faith in action.

Faith in action bring results.

Then these are the results....

Actions without selfish motives will built love, life and relationships.

God Bless...

Is an act between a husband and wife wrong?

If the motive is wrong the act is wrong.

regardless of the act.

Sexual expression is an outward expression of the respect and desire you have for your spouse.

A spouse really knows what is acceptable to their partner.

Regardless of the spoken acceptance of an act.

I don't doubt there is some medical aspects to AS, however I was unable to find anything confirming the 60% higher chance of cancer. I wouldn't take that as pure fact until it's validated by somewhere.

Once again, Neck you are blowing us all away with your great posts!!

Thanks for taking the time.

Exactly! If you are open and discuss with your spouse like you've been saying, then there shouldn't ever be any surprises.

However, if one of the partners feels something is dirty or defiles then that's where the respect should kick in and refrain from that. But, this needs to be handled by talking it out too - the influences from their past can influence right and wrong how they may feel about something. After discussing and they still feel the same way, then don't do it.

Respect and communication is BIG here - - Neck has laid it all out!

Re: Seven Days of Sex... Woo Hoo!! :)

Concerning pornography, I have worked in a library off and on for a number of years. I am have been exposed on a regular basis to what people access on the computer. This includes both children and adults. I have seen regular porn, child porn, homosexual porn in the course of a days work. When I was at a smaller library and I had more responsibilities, I kicked one kid out for looking at homosexual porn. In the larger library where I now work, I walked past a kid who had large porn pictures up on the screen and I reported it to the person in charge. This person shrugged it off. They said they simply try not to look. At a meeting where they were discussing designing the library, I reminded them that the monitors face the juvenile department and this should be considered. This was shrugged off.

In this day and age, when people look at all kinds of pornography in public places, I shudder to think what they are doing in private. People are being exposed to this at younger and younger ages. This will always put body sex first, lust first and relationships second. This will always cause relationships to be out of kilter and cause rampant unhappiness and sometimes, criminal acts.

My husband has a co-worker who was mortified because her daughter was complaining about her college roommate having sex with her boyfriend with the girl in the room. What did the girl do? She pretended she was asleep. Now, she is defiled psychologically. Why didn't she know she had every right to be outraged?? Why didn't she storm out of the room? Why did the mother not march right down there and get her daughter out of the dorm room??

Day before yesterday I saw two girls kissing while walking down the street.

I think when people are exposed, first to television sex at a young age and then Lord knows what as time goes on, desensitization occurs. Damage occurs. People are entering marriage already defiled. And some of them are innocent. Their righteous sould are probably vexed from day to day with the world's unlawful deeds.

My two cents on the subject.
