I'll play swords with you.
1Cr 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
1Cr 14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
1.In reading the above passages have you ever wondered about the basic translation? why is the word translated women? Then later the word for man translated husbands yet the word for wives translated women?
Its because it did not jive with the translaters anti-women theology...catholic.The text in the above translation does not match grammatically case nor tense.Think about it.I am sure you took a course in English comp/grammer at least in this lifetime. If the way the KJV translators translated this verse were correct then women could not even sing or pray aloud in church. They would be commanded not to utter a word. This was not about women speaking the oracles of God.This was about public behavior and decency and order in the house of God.Wives were not to be chattering to their husbands during church. If they had something to ask the apostle simply said to ask at home.
