Re: McCain apparently didn't help negotiations
Sen. McCain has been advised by some Republicans to NOT go along with the bail out plan.
Sen. McCain will have a chance to appear as the "Agent of Change" who wants to bring reform to this whole mess. He will blame this Admin indirectly and focus on Sen. Obama's financial connections to Freddie and Fannie, making Sen. Obama look like he is part of the problem.
It's a genius plan, but I hope it is not executed at the risk of the American tax payer.
Further, if I know about this "plan" I hope Sen. Obama's team is prepping themselves for the onslaught.
Objectively speaking, both Senators, in fact both Houses of the Legislature, this Administration and the former Administration all share a piece in this soup sandwich.
