We'll forgive you. I know my A&P classes didn't go into great detail the complex maternal-fetal connection. It wasn't until I took Maternal Newborn Nursing that we discussed those things. The physiological changes demanded of the neonate at birth are amazing!

I forgive him for being wrong again ...

So when does the fetus have it's own blood?

Week 3 and 4 ... interesting, Nahkoe. thanks ...

I don't know how a morning after pill (EC) can be viewed as an abortion if it is used to prevent conception .... no conception ... no human life ...

Of course, Dalice has no problem playing god...he KNOWS when the morning after pill prevents conception vs. when the morning after pill prevents implantation.

No I don't know that or the when it takes effect... Jekyll ... and I don't dare to be god.

Nor does a woman who takes it attempting to prevent the potential conception.

Blood? I think it's about 5-6 days post-fertilization. But I am not certain. I know the yolk sac of the implanting blastocyst has the beginnings of blood cells and blood vessels, but they are very early stages. Ooooh! I found a source, without digging out my textbooks from storage! 17-19 days after ovulation

And actually, this source states that the embryo has its own blood cells by this phase, which means they have been in the formative stages up to this point of pregnancy.

it also 6-10 days for complete implantation w/ the lining of the uterus for it to survive...

If an EC pill is taken within the first 72 hours it is most effective ... because it will deal with preventing ovulation and/or fertilization.

I love the moronic circular arguments you propose as being valid, relevant, or important for that matter.

THE PEOPLE WHO TAKE OR ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO TAKE THESE PILLS ARE TRYING TO PLAY GOD.

Hey, Dalice, do you have a personal stake in this discussion?
