I agree it would be a risky proposal, but if they framed it right, I think the risks would be equal to what they are with her.
If, say, Sara Palin would decide over night that the pressure and turmoil was too much on her family and that she called John McCain in the morning to withdraw her name as candidate for VP, then that would lessen McCain's burden in the whole matter.
McCain would simply be a victim of circumstance and with deep regret would have to accept her withdrawal and then get his campaign back on track with a better pick.
Did I sell you Baron?
Still a tough sale. If any of the factors were a new development previously unknown, it may be easy. As it stands it would be very tricky.

Yeah it wouldn't be a good situation, but as it is, their message and convention is being side tracked. I'll bet this discussion is going on in the dark rooms in St. Paul.
It's strange that Rudy Guilianie is now the announced keynote speaker tommorrow night and they've basically kept her in hiding and not doing interviews with the press.

Now, there's a mayor with "executive experience".

Yeah with 8 million people and the attacks of 9/11, I'll vouch for that kind of "executive experience".
He was extremely organized with excellent communication and management skills. A win, win all the way around - until - he dressed in drag. Not a pretty sight. lol
