Bean Blossom is south of Indianapolis and a little east of I65 in Brown County, Indiana. Brown County also has the Little Nashville Opry and several artists. It's tourist appeal is like Gatlinburg without the mountains. It's also near Cheese Head's church, if you remember him from a previous forum. It's about 100 miles west of here. We used to go there every couple of years to the Little Nashville Opry and to visit all the shops. We haven't been there for several years now. Bean Blossom is not far outside the town of Nashville, Ind. One year we were in Nashville, IN and there was a parade and Bill Monroe was the grand marshall. We've never been to the Bean Blossom Blugrass place but I think it is pretty primitve.

By the way, I like Blue Grass. Just last week I ordered 4 CD's from Lawrence Bishop who is pastor of a nearby church and also has a bluegrass band. The CD's haven't come yet. I've never heard Lawrence Bishop or his wife Darlene Bishop preach nor have I been to their church. The web site for Lawrence Bishop is:
