Aquila,
I actually liked your post about teaching your son how to respect women, how to attract women, etc. I think that is something that is sorely lacking.
However, you must admit, that's not how this discussion started! It started as a "Hey guys, I'll give you the secrets to walk into a club/bar/restaurant and kiss a girl that you've never met before!"
That was what I had issue with.
And, even Rhoni commented that a thread about "picking up chicks" was a bit over the top. Then, she turned around and accused me of having my mind in the gutter. Maybe she feels strongly both ways, I don't know.

Now, having said that, I totally agree that there is a time and place for teaching on relationships, interacting with members of the opposite sex, even marital issues.
However, those need to be separate discussions, much the same as they are dealt with in churches. When I pastored, we taught several classes on just those topics, but we isolated the groups, it wasn't done in front of the entire congregation at once.
