If you support freedom of choice, you patently support murder - plain and simple. Sorry to be so blunt, but the facts are the facts, my friend.
Within this freedom of choice, you will have some instances that may be truly justifiable in the eyes of many, such as preserving the life of the mother - but you will also have those who, as Ferd mentions, will use abortion as a means of birth control.
Those who use abortion wrongfully will live with the guilt and shame and answer to God. Again, the Government isn't capable of addressing this properly.

The Government is incapable of addressing this issue. It's too complex. To say that we support only allowing it to preserve the life or health of the mother sounds good....but that means the Government has the power to decide what constitutes a life or health threatening condition. Think of it like this....it's your wife on the table....the doctors are divided over if it is advisable to have an abortion. Who's best capable of making the decision...you and your wife...or the Government?
And, how is this decision made today?

Why would you report this post? When our kids were little and they were being tattle tales we would ask them if it was important enough that they were willing to suffer the same punishment for the one they were telling on. If it wasn't, and it usually wasn't we wouldn't listen to them.

I rarely ever report anyone. Rico and I was accused of supporting "murder" just because we think Government can't address the issue properly. I was highly offended and all I did was state that those accusations from a poster here was a lie. That poster evidently reported me because he was offended and I got an infraction. I was only defending Rico and myself from the accusation that we support murder (highly offensive). So I reported those posts where people accused us of supporting murder because those accusations are highly offencive. More offensive of being accused of telling a a lie.
So, if you want to address "tattle tales"...please address the poster that started the process. And I assure you...it wasn't me or Rico. We were defending ourselves from unfounded accusations of supporting murder.
Ferd I only said that because you supported me of supporting murder when I just think Goverment isn't capable of addressing the issue. That was highly offensive to me. You or your wife ever have to face making such a horrible decision for medical reasons?

it is offensive to me that someone would discount the reality that the vast majority of abortions are for birth control and suggesting that over turning Roe equates to jack booted government agents siezing a woman and forcing her to die in child birth.
i am quite comfortable standing by my statment. if you are pro-choice you support abortion. That is EXACTLY what I said. if it offends you, I suggest you re-evaluate your postion. Again, if you dont get the dicotomy of your position, that is your issue. not mine.

I guess then we can work on stabilizing the 65 million in Iran...who are more militant and religious. The Iraqi people are no where near as religious, radical, or dangerous as many of the others. Also because of the Sunni/Shiite situation in Iraq and Iran, stabilizing that one country is not even possible.

Abortion, is the taking of an innocent life. In my book it is murder, and those who think women should be allowed to kill their children are complicit.
