I don't care if 1000 elders stand up and say such and thus is God's way. If it ain't in the Bible, they're adding to the Word of God and out of the Book. How many prophets were telling the people that everything was fine and the cities of Judah were not going to be destroyed during Jeremiah's tenure? All of them, and they were all wrong too.
