You live in your own little fantasy land if you think anybody has ever said Republicans are perfect.

The insiniuation you are making is that no gorup of people should make a moral stand if they have members who fail.

If that is the case then preachers should stop preaching Christian morality because heaven knows we have some preachers who mess up and have sexual failures.

My thoughts exactly.

If there was evidence that a party consistently covers this stuff up rather than rooting it out it would be different. That they speak against it in spite of some failing is to their credit.

This is a factually inaccurate statement. I challenge you to prove your thesis.

Republicans root out their sexual perverts while Democrats just keep reelecting them to congress.

Example 1 - Republican congressman in FL found to have text messaged inappropriate messages to teenage pages. Forced to resign and not run for reelection.

Example 2 - Democrat Congressman many years before actually had sex with teenage pages and remained in congress and was supported in reelection bids by Dems. Not to mention Barney Frank of course. The openly gay Congressman from Mass. whose live in 20something year old lover was operating a prostituion service out of the congressman's home. Yet Barney Frank stayed in congress and is continually reelected.

Point out instances where Republicans have covered up and defended sexual perversion like this.

Yer learning. Don't hold your breath waiting for a response from him either. Keep this up and you get to fall under the cranky and against him category. I will be waiting to welcome you into the club.

*BUMP* For St. Mark since he either missed it the first time around or realized he could not answer it.

This has to be one of the most ridiculous statements you've ever made, Mark.

You started a great thread last week, then have to ruin it with a thread like this.

Sheesh.

CC, You're never going to admit it but if this was a
Republican you'd be all over this story like flies on
dog poo.
The Republicans MUST be held to a higher standard since
they are the ones that are suppose to be upholding morals
and voting for the conservative community. It's a no brainer
