You may be getting tired of me going to all this church stuff but... I need you to take me to the church this morning... I have to go to prayer meeting! Girl...I cried! He had no clue why... but I cried because your current situation made me realize that God can change anyone and He will touch your sons life and yours and bring you both out of this stronger than you ever were before just hold on!

Subdued, I had to keep going back to the fact that we had dedicated our children to God when they were infants and that He loves them even more than I do. I kept speaking life and righteousness over them and tried to NOT speak anything negative that the devil could use as an accusation against them. My children are a heritage of the Lord! I kept professing that even if I didn't see it at the time.
Good Advice Sherri. Not that you were giving advice but we can all take it and try to do the same thing with our children.

I remember, very well, when my daughter was pulling her stunts and I was afraid for her life. You should listen to Nancy Grandquist tell about her daughter - it ended in victory.
Her daughter lived with me during part of this period. I know this story well.
I talk to my kids about these issues also, and while I'm sure they aren't involved in anything at the moment, I'm always on the lookout. I certainly don't want to be blind as to the possibility.
I know Subby's son, and he's honestly a good kid. A few screws loose because that's what happens to teens, for some reason (), but he's really a good kid with good intentions and great future goals.
I hope that one day he'll look back and take that experience and help others. I think of stupid things I've done, especially as a kid and wonder how I ever got out of those messes, but it's proof that God has His hand on me even when I didn't want Him around.
God loves Adam. God will protect him and help him. I believe that.

Thanks, H1 - I think he's a great kid, too; despite what's going on. He's always had a good heart, so I know there's good in there somewhere!
I, too, hope that one day he'll be able to help others. Keep praying for him........ and ME!
