It happens occasionally. Our posters are great about reporting them quickly.
Most spammers won't go to the trouble they have to go through during registration to be a big problem here. But there are a few who will.

Thanks guys...but it's not just me. I can't take all the kudos. In fact, Tina is usually the one who catches these guys and bans them before most are aware of them, so I'm not even sure I did it right!

There is actually a whole 'sport' rising which involves scamming the scammers. It involves actually replying to these sort of emails and developing 'relationships' with them. You eventually get them to take self portraits of themselves holding various signs (think, "I.P. Freely" and such...), which you then post on various web sites in the form of trophies.
