Amen! We have decided to finally stay here in Tx.. so we were discussing buying a home finally. And God has blessed us and at this point we should be able to buy with cash in 2 more years... Then have nothing we leave our children in debt with... and my dad has also just paid off his home and has decided in 5 more years to leave that home to us also in which we have decided at that time my son will be on his own and it will be his home.. paid for and a nice home... The best way to live.. debt free indeed!

My dad work in the Texaco Oil Fields for decades.
One thing is for sure.
The folks getting rich off the oil fields don't come home with their clothes smelling of crude oil.

Thats what I absolutely hate!!!!! But ya know... we wont go there! Its unbelievable and my husband has quit working almost any over time because it seems 90% of his overtime pay goes to taxes.. I hate it.. Actually he worked one week over and they took 1200+ dollars just in taxes..which was actually more than he brought home by a good amount. fortunately they have sent out a mass letter to all their employees stating there was an issue with their payroll company and the taxes were calculated wrong and so that a large amount of that will be reimbursed but its unreal!!!!
