Rhonda just needs to stay focused and do the right thing regardless of what anyone else does. If she does this she'll be the better person for it.

I hope her report will be to this effect.

Yes, and do it without "attitude". These kind of situations prove what you're really made of. You just got to bear down and do what you have to do and do it with a right spirit.

I could tell you of some situations that I've had to deal with where it was TOUGH ..... mighty TOUGH ..... to have to go through and maintain a right spirit and attitude. And the fact is that my spirit wasn't always right but I at least crucified the flesh and "put on" a smile and held my head up and walked in and fellowshipped and did what I had to do.

And breathed a sigh of relief when I left too.

But at least I had the satisfaction of knowing that I did the right thing, did it to the best of my ability and it never hurt me in any way that counts. What it did do was prove to me that I could do it and handle what I didn't think I could and have the satisfaction of knowing I did the "right" thing.

My spirit got straightened out later!

That's right!

It also takes away any chance for the "others" to have something to talk about. If you can keep your attitude in check and not be an easy read for them, then they can't get the satisfaction of knowing that you are upset or they have gotten to you.

I pray this is what she is able to do!

One experience I would like to share.

We had a young lady who was engaged to be married last year. She was encouraged to wait on setting the date, even by her own mother.

The young couple forged on ahead. Nobody in the Church went except for the immediate family.
My little daughter was supposed to be in it.

Feelings were hurt, mainly the Mother of the bride. She stood tall, realizing that they were rushing it, and regretting it could not have been the date that God wanted it to be.

She is praying and reaching out to her daughter for reconcilliation.

The daughter realizes that everyone was right, but how can you undo something?

In my eyes this Mother stands tall.

I pray Rhoni can do the same thing-no matter if she feels that everything is not being done right.

Absolutely right Renda! What you receive ultimately is admiration and respect from others but also FOR yourself. I'd rather have that than give into petty or even not so petty feelings.

It can't always be about "us". We have to do what is right sometimes also for the sake of "others".

I know, Mother, and thank you for doing so. I have been in contact with Sistergirl several times this week, and will try to reach her tonight.

I will tell her about your posts and prayers...
