Re: Cologne and Perfumes

I never wear perfume. It gives me a headache and makes me cough. The cologne my husband wears doesn't bother me, though.

Re: Cologne and Perfumes

i wear it daily (perfume..not cologne) and i change scents so often. for years it was clinique happy then happy heart. then victoria's secret pink, very sexy, very sexy 2, and i recently bought thier "little sexy things"..such a stupid name but i like the scent. right now i also like the velvet tuberose body splash from bath and body works. anything light and feminine. i don't do that heavy stuff. perfume/cologne is just part of hygiene. like someone's soap or shampoo smelling good. if it is causing someone to lust then they have much bigger problems than that anyway.

Re: Cologne and Perfumes

oh i forgot a funny story. one time my best friend was getting ready for church and saw the bottle of ralph lauren romance on the counter. she quickly sprayed herself like 5times before realizing it was her dad's romance for men. she tried to mask it with perfume but everyone at church was like "are u wearing cologne?" too funny.

Soooo.... tell me do you wear it ? If yes, why? If no, why not?

Perfumes and Colognes... should we wear them??
Yes, you as a married man should wear cologne because I'm sure your wife likes it.

To me, it is dumb to think someone is coming on to someone because of having on cologne. I love to smell my husband when he has on cologne and it has nothing to do with being turned on.

I wear perfume every day because I like it and I don't feel completely dressed without it. It's somewhat like forgetting to wear my watch when I forget to put on perfume.

If someone has an issue with it, might I suggest that they just not wear fragrance? After all, if they find it to be such a turn on, then maybe there is an underlying problem of lust in their lives that should be dealt with.
Just a thought...

I do think it's dumb for someone to think a man, any man, is coming on to you just because he is wearing cologne. I'd like to see the post on that, for starters. lol

I don't agree with your last statement, though. I do like to smell cologne on MY husband because it does turn me on, totally. Scents are intoxicating, to say the least.

Someone does have a lust problem if ANY man turns them on because of the cologne. I can smell a man's cologne and think it smells nice, but it's a different story when MY man is wearing it! Woof!
