Actually, I have been dismayed and discouraged from posting here very much seeing the overwhelming negative attitutde toward pastors as though they were some almost needless appendage to the body of christ in regards to the salvation of man.
If someone can be saved just by observing their belly button, then there is really no need for a Pastor. Yet, I will continue to contend that one without a pastor is NOT attached to the body that is attached to the head.
I may not be here very much anymore, but please carry on.
I hope St. Matt will reconsider and continue to post even if he is not running the show. He might enjoy it better without that pressure. He knows I appreciate him and what he has done.

But see that contending is exactly what you SHOULD do. And there are others still here that will argue just as much how important a Pastor is to a saint and a church

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

What I don't get is that, before they were admins and owners, they were just posters like the rest of us chopped liver posters.
It seems like part of the reason they are leaving(and I've privately spoken to most who are leaving, which is why I say PART but I'll also say it doesn't apply to them all) is that they can't become just posters once again.
Anyway, just my thoughts in all this mess.
