If you think for one minute that ALL of us are not going to pay then you are either a part of the problem or you are just ignorant of history.
When have things ever went the way a politician campaigns it to go. Clinton said the same thing but once in office he had to increase everyones taxes to make all of his programs work and you can spin it anyway you want to but those programs is what drove the down turn in the economy in 98...and sadly, even Bush didn't keep all his promises to lower government spending either.
If we know that they will take twice what they campaign to take then what do we have to look forward to with what Obama already claims to want.
And brother you look like a pretty smart guy in your pic and have talked like one till recently when it seems all you have is someone elses cut and paste so how is it you have no clue as to economics 1 on 1.? Alot of those rich people you want to tax are small business owners and even corporate owners, so lets see, raise their taxes then they in turn raise the price of the goods I buy to cover those taxes, which discourages me from buy any extra goods so he doesn't have to stock as much so his supplier doesn't have to make as much so they can lay some people off which can lead to high unemployment which leads to the government welfare and job creation programs which leads to ,,,,"We have to raise taxes for the good of the country"!!! and "why are all those big evil companies going over seas"? Because that is where our government is driving them.
However, you could lower taxes for those companies then the money they save they will reinvest into their company and expand it which means more jobs thus more tax revenue for the government without raising taxes!!! And it created jobs!!!! What a novel idea!!! Oh yeah, we done that....thats why my company experience an average yearly growth of 32% for the past 6 years, which in turn has trickled down to me in the form of 3 promotions totaling an 80+% increase in wages in just the past 3 years. A meeting back at the beginning of the year focused on the fact that a Democrat will probably take office next year, as such we are self limiting our growth this year to just 8 - 10% because we know that we are about to sink into a huge tax loss.
You can quote all the statistics you want but it don't jive with real life facts.
It's going to happen anyway. And when it's saving you money you'll realize how silly you have been.

Your words only go to show us that you don't know what socialism is. I contend that you can't find a purely socialist or capitalist nation anymore. The truth of the matter is that most nation today has what is known as a mixed economy with some essential systems socialized and some private. I support municipal run police and fire too...I guess that makes me a socialist also. You guys are the most venomous brothers I've ever talked to. You've proven one thing to me...those who champion capitalism are some of the meanest people on earth, even to their "brothers" who may disagree with them.

we have moved away from a laissez-faire capitalist/Liberal system to a more controlled form of captialism that is true.
however it is very clear that Democrats want to move us in a much more controlled socialist/progressive direction and away from a Liberal/Capitalist system.
(before anyone starts lobbing rocks at me, my use of the term "Liberal" doesnt mean American Liberalism it means the traditional concept of Liberalism that comes from the Enlightenment and stresses individual freedom and equality of oppurtunity....not outcome like the dems of today.)
