A western cut suit would look ok with cowboy boots.

We just do things differently in Texas Bro. Scott. I imagine you would look great in cowboy boots and a stetson.

Here in Amarillo, Tx., Boots are normal with a suit.

I have never been to Texas,I would like to visit someday.
I used to listen to Ernest Tubb music, he had a song entitled there's a little bit of everything in Texas.

I actually love boots...for men or women either one. Here's a pair no man could wear with his dignity intact! LOL! (...can't say I'd wear these with a dressy dress....)
