Sis, am I the only one posting?
You might find that there are a few others prosecuting this.
As long as the potshots continue, I am willing to answer them.
I am at the moment not willing to let false accusations and warped implications go unanswered.
So if that means I am not willing to let it die, then yes, I guess you are right.
"Letting it die" in the minds of some means letting the cats caterwaul unchallenged until they feel like they have caterwauled enough.

Myles Young...great guy...fabulous singer...things that make ya go hmmmmmm. I am convinced that he would not be involved in this thing if his FIL were not NW.
TLC is desperately trying to revive JCM...bless his heart. QUICK! HOOK UP THE RESPIRATOR (even though the corpse has gone cold)!!! GET THE DEFIB PADDLES FIRED UP! CLEAR! ZZZZZZZZTTTT!!! Wayne McClain is married to my 3rd cousin...we're RELATED! After I graduated from Life Christian Academy, he decided not to allow his young people to associate with Life Tab youth. But guess what!?!?!

V, this is the second post of this nature and I responded to this. This you can read for yourself the resulting dialogue (and that is being generous).

Anyway, this UPCI vs WWPF isn't about me. Nor is it about individual preachers making a decision to turn in their UPC licenses and signing up with this new organization or fellowship or whatever.
It's about how this effects the Kingdom of God as a whole. The UPCI is NOT the Kingdom of God, but it is a significant PART of that Kingdom.
One has to ask the question of those who have put this thing together: "How does this effect the Kingdom of God and does it further the spreading of the gospel and how will this effect the people who your ministry serves?"
"No man is an island." The actions of one has a ripple effect on others.
Are these men conducting themselves honorably as befits their office?
Brother Jekyll, questioning human behavior does NOT qualify as "touching God's anointed." While I have a certain level of respect for some of them, these men have no authority over me, nor do you have the wherewithall to apply the figurative rod of correction to my backside. You have overstepped your "authority" and falsely accused me. Better get that log out of your own eye before you try irrigating the dirt out of mine.

I believe in retrospect you are wishing to downplay the tone of your attacks. Good for you. You cannot equate your snipes with having questions about directions or the eloquent question you asked above. Taking your rants about, "Who am I to tell you how to act?" Folks can see my response to the first post above. I was giving you advice from the WORD OF GOD. Okay, you can say whatever you want about AUTHORITY (apologies to CS) but then you go crying to admin and THAD of all people about getting your toes stepped on when everyone doesn't give reverence to your remarks? Puuuhhleeeeze.
Epiologue:
This will continue as long as it is brought up. Remember, I am responding, not attacking. Thank you.

You said it, I didn't.
I percieved that RG thought that I was lumping everyone together. I am not lumping those hurt with those that are bitter. There is a distinction between being hurt and being bitter. Bitterness is a choice that our enemy encourages us to make thereby rotting our sanity. The enemy uses this choice to decieve people that their wounds are separating them from GOD.
Those who believe those lies allow bitterness to become a spiritual rabies that makes a person bite the heads off of anyone who tries to help. Bitterness only destroyes the host although it is very contagious across a carnal spectrum.
JESUS came to heal the sick and bind the wounds. There will be wounds. Bitterness, strife, and envy are works of the flesh and voluntary works at that. We are not bound to these works but can overcome them as GOD has empowered us to be victorious over our enemy.

I can say too that there are valid reasons for bitterness....just not a valid reason to stay that way...especially when forgiveness is given us by God...
