The older I get, and the more I see, I am completely turned off by organizational bureaucracy. It is a stench in God's nostrils and destroys many lives.

It is equatable to the money-changers in the Temple.

Perversion in its worst form.

Countless front-line men and women give their lives to God's kingdom daily. Their time, their careers, their money, their family, only to have a hierarchy tell them they need to give more, and more, and more to support programs that are unwieldy and useless. Programs that line the pockets of "executives" at some plush building far removed from the realities of street level ministry.

My prediction is that any new org will mirror everything that currently exists.

Why?

Because men love power.

surely this is a figment of our imaginations ....

The all-knowing God gave us the ability to infer.

Can we stop being insulted.
LOL! DA if I ever do insult you, you won't have to guess.

Look, there is no doubt in my mind that some (I have no idea how many) ministers certainly seem to be leaning towards formation of a new group. Is it the majority? I don't know. Does that mean one will be formed? I don't know. Is worrying about it on an internet forum going to solve anything? This one I KNOW the answer to: No.

Funny. One of the 49 is the man who twisted my arm the hardest to come in to the UPC. Now he might (according to him he is not sure) leave the UPC. Good grief, I have been in less than two years.
Dude, I am not WORRIED about it. I welcome it.

Thank God for it!

I pray God tears down every man-made organizational stronghold in the Oneness Pentecostal movement so that REAL revival can occur without all the trappings of personality worship.

You Go BAGHDAD BOB!!!

The ministry of disinformation is at it again ... the list has now been changed as it was this morning ....

no 49 elders ... no TLC ... just the original sponsors of the Summit.

Yeah. But I saw that portion of the list this morning that contained 49 names. And one of them told me it wouldn't be there. Ask me how I feel about that. I won't answer, but you can guess.

No one notified some of the 49 they were on the list?

Is Booker going to make someone pay for this?

I spoke with a preacher this morning who called TLC. Brother Craft specifically asked for his name to be removed from the "7." I do not know his reasons, nor do I have any further information. If I knew Brother Craft better, I would call him personally. However, we have only met once, and that was several years (and 80 pounds) ago.

Comical.

My BIL called me about 30 minutes ago and told me the info had been removed.

I thought I was the only one with that problem.
