It was decided to have all the 'blog' type threads here so they could be found more easily. Thad's Tab, Gabby's and C2C are all 'community' blog based threads.

I thought it was a great idea. I always like to check in on everyone's blog threads, but sometimes it's hard to find them. And I don't usually make a point of digging around for them. You know the old phrase, 'out of sight, out of mind'.

I know it's not what we're used to, but I'd like to see everyone give this a chance.

But the Canadian thread isn't a blog. All kind of discussion takes place on this thread. It's like a "general discussion" thread for Canadians.

It thought a blog is where one person basically is keeping a diary of their thoughts and activities. The Canadian thread has never been that. It's always been in the General Discussion area.

At one time it pretty much stayed on page 1 or 2 of General Discussion.

I'm only one voice. Perhaps more will chime in. Definitely only need one Canadian thread though.

I agree, I think the Canadian thread, along with TT, and Gabby's are all a 'general discussion' type thread based on a community of dedicated posters. They each have their own 'following' of posters.

Mostly they are made up of those dedicated posters who are basically just yakking and sharing...general discussion.

And I think it's great that they have their own area to call their own. Cafe Blog-a-bit isn't just about blogs, it's more of a type of coffeehouse. You come, you sit, you share, you yak, you relax.

I was concerned about Gabby's too, but it seems to be getting some viewing...not as much as before, but I am ok with that...if people are interested they will find it......

I know you used to have CCC in your old name. And I've seen C2C, as well.

CCC was a thread of its own,mostly frequented by members or people associated with that congregation. C2C represents "From Sea to Sea" which represents all of Canada .
