I guess we'll disagree on this.

Then who are they going to argue and debate with?

what fun is it if we are just patting each other on the back?

Hmmm.

Brad and I are better prophets than some who claim the term.

Maybe we can find a way to make money out of it.

It's the same way on the GNC. When someone is banned, it's usually a conservative.

Hmmmm......

If Jesus and Paul were posters here, there's a verrrry good chance they would be banned. Don't you think so? lol

No hand wringing here.

I post when I like and don't when I don't want to.

No threads started decrying anything, and no asking anybody to rein in anything.

When it is fun, I post. If it gets to be not so much fun, I lay off.

Everything changes, including people and their tastes. I find after several years of debating hotand heavy that it is getting a little old...

Anybody that wants to can say that is codespeak for me getting tired of my arguments not holding water...

But I think a fair observer would say that I have held my own pretty much.

The bottom line is, I will do exactly what I want to do, when I want to, and I won't be manipulated or even tweaked by someone's taking a poke at me.

I enjoy a good scuffle now and then, and am not known to run off crying when it gets tough.

Have fun, all.

There have been quite a few ultra cons posting on the LB thread.
As usual some folks never get their story straight.

With the notable and exemplary exceptions that have already been note: most of the "conservatives" here play the hit and run game. They post something derisive about the UPC and its "compromise" or they do a little dance about "all those preachers turning in their credentials" and then they run off.

That kind of behavior is NOT very friendly at all. It also provokes a bunch of posts going after "the guys who do the little dance." Then these same guys come back and complain about how they were mistreated.

Passive aggressive. It's the way they treat everybody.

And again, there are several fine examples like C.S. and S.E. and others who will actually engage you. But most of the "conservative" stuff is hit and run. It's like they're fighting a guerilla campaign against their own erstwhile brothers.

Ah yes. And thankfully there are no liberals calling others names, inpugning the character of good men or making 'drive by' postings of an obnoxious nature!

Can you imagine how this place would look if liberals weren't so far above accusation?

Let's face it; there is silliness on both sides. They key difference, as it appears to me, is that conservatives feel they are being attacked for still believing what they always believed and liberals feel they are being attacked when someone refuses to agree with the direction they are taking.

No, you can be assured it happens on both sides.
