Oh well. Since I'm just a'making friends all over the place lately, let's break this post down. I saw you misunderstand it in the first place but let it slide cuz I figured someone else would handle it.

There is nothing in his post that indicates that those women were acting like lesbians. Acting masculine doesn't make one a lesbian anymore than acting feminine makes one a sissy or queer.

LadyRev, please give us the sciptures you are reading that says any of this. The woman is the head of the house? Really? And there are several 'heads' of the Church? Wow.

Some scripture was already posted in regards to church leadership. You posted it yourself. However, there is more to church leadership than just apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. Is it additional scripture you want?

Or perhaps you are one of those that believes the only "head" of the church is the pastor? Where does that leave the others? I mean really...apostles, prophets, evangelists and teachers may not "pastor" therefore I suppose they don't qualify as "heads" in the church?


As for scripture regarding the woman being the head of the house...I'll be happy to oblige.

guide the house:

1. to be master (or head) of a house
2. to rule a household, manage family affairs

That's according to the Strong's, and is only used in that verse.

As for the 'multiple heads' claim, do you disagree that a woman has her husband as well as God as her head? If not, that means she has two heads! Nothing wrong with that, but it is Biblical.

As for multiple heads in the church, that's absolutely Biblical. Paul never advocated a one-man-show when it came to church government.

The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.

You also have a problem with that above scriptures, since it's lists women as elders too. Don't think so?? The same Greek word is used in both scriptures for 'elder'.

I had already posted these very scriptures and more.

Some people, (and I don't mean you HO), need to drop the "selective reading".

I'm ashamed that an Apostolic preacher would imply that women who preach are lesbians, I'm ashamed to be a part of OUR friends belief system that any woman who preaches is a lesbian. I'm also ashamed that he is a preacher who posts "macho" looking women in a picture to indicate what he thinks w/out actually saying what was on his mind. You are so dishonest. If you cannot show where he said this, then I do wish the Admin would do something about you and all the others saying this about EB.

EB got banned for what he said in another thread. Okay, it happened. But he did not say anything close to what these "saints" are saying in this thread. Admin, please do something about this wickedness. EB is being completely misrepresented, and it has been shown to be the case many times.
