I'm afraid I have bad news for you. It appears that you are leaning toward the same slippery slope many of us are on here on this forum. You cannot be in with the GIB club, just to make you aware.
Sorry to disappoint you, and I hope I didn't spoil your sleep for the night.

Sis I never said that the apostolic stand on uncut hair was not right. She preaches the "magic hair" doctrine as if there is magic in it. She believed that if her hair was uncut it would keep her husband from cheating on her. That is the part I was claiming was false.
I still stand on the same standards I have the entire time you have known me.

You weren't here for the big 'magic hair' discussion that took place here a few months ago. It was very interesting!

I would like to know if she is still preaching that you can "control" your husband with uncut hair.
Go to the archives I do believe that exact question was addressed! Although you would have yards and yards of thread to go thru to find it LOL... would be more exciting than this thread for sure!!!!
You know it is difficult to carry on a conversation with men about this subject. They think it is all about sex.
Blessings, Rhoni
?????
I'm not sure I saw any references to sex in this thread............
I'm a bit disappointed in the turn the thread took concerning the insults and criticism brought against Paula White, I'm not sure any of us, besides Vicky knows her well enough to comment on her personality and physical quirks. I have no problem with Paula White at all, and would be very hesitant to start referring to her "manliness" or any other perceived mannerisms.
However, my comment was directed to Rhoni............in her original post she clearly said "Her degree and divorce were GOOD for her", and then retracted the statement.
I don't care who you are, it's a great stretch to say that a degree and a divorce helps one's ministry.........if those things are brought upon one and they rise above it, that's one thing.........but, if a divorce in and of itself HELPS one's ministry, then I'd say that the Bible is contradictory..........

Not one time have I retracted or deleted a statement made on this thread. Many trials in our lives, divorce being one of them, bring growth in areas that we never imagined. Does God condone divorce? NO. I am not excusing anyone. But God forgives divorce and His mercies are new every morning.
The degree she received has helped her preaching by the words she uses and the way in which she uses them. She has understanding about herself and others which is why, I assume, that she studied psychology in the first place. I know it was my motivation for studying it.
So stop the jumping on Rhoni for things she didn't say...pick on someone else today because I am well into my diet and don't have time for idiocrasies.
