Will Paula White Marry Rich Hawkins?
Will Paula White marry Rich Hawkins of Family Praise Center in San Antonio,Texas, and if so, will God honor the marriage?
I am sure this is the question on many people's minds. I have my own thoughts on this, and I don't want to stray far from the issue at hand that most greatly affects the body of Christ today, the reason that Paula White is getting divorced in the first place.
I think the church is owed an explanation. I believe that if Randy committed adultery, it would be best to tell about it. Otherwise, so many members are left to wonder if the divorce is based on biblical grounds. If Paula committed adultery and is calling the divorce so that she can marry again, then that is a different situation, and not one that calls for support from the body of Christ.
The church can be a harsh place at times, misunderstandings take place, but when a power house couple announces they are getting divorced, it is expected that they will give bonafide biblical reasons as to why. It leaves the church wondering why they haven't.

Uh....wow. Rhoni....passion doesn't mean squat unless two people are in love or you are selling cars...haha. Seriously, even Louis Farrakhan preaches with passion, so that does not really indicate much to me. However the real issue I am wondering about is....how do you tell she has more anointing now? On TV is there a little anointing gauge-o-meter on the side that goes up and down? hehe..ok I am having fun, but seriously how on earth can we say "she or he has more anointing now"?
That seems highly subjective. I don't see how having an education in psychology makes someone more passionate or anointed....in fact that is kind of a scary thing to say hear someone say...pentecostal or otherwise....anointing comes from God.
Lastly it saddens me to see our generation, especially Christians, put their seal of approval on a man and woman splitting up their marriage

It does seem like that is what you said...she seems more at peace? Has more passion. Has more anointing.

But one does not need to have God or Passion to do that...or be divorced. You said more anointing, that was the question Ferd asked about. Just because she was doing a good job does not necessarily mean it was anointing.

A commentary from a radio interviewer on her New book
taken from www.crosswalk.com
Paula White's Desperate Moment
Paul Edwards
Church Without Walls International in Tampa, Florida is one of the largest evangelical megachurches in America with a weekly attendance in the thousands and a $40 million dollar annual income. The church and its pastors are firmly rooted in the prosperity, name it/claim it gospel of Kenneth Hagin and Kenneth Copeland, blended with a whole lot of focus on self-fulfillment psychology. Until recently the church had been co-pastored by Paula White and her husband of 18 years, Randy White. The duo announced in August that they would be divorcing and yet continue their respective ministries: Randy as the Senior Pastor of Church Without Walls while Paula focuses her attention on her television ministry which is broadcast on a variety of outlets including the Black Entertainment Network, as well as her book writing and conference appearances.
There’s good reason the couple doesn’t want to relinquish their powerful positions even when repentance and resignation would seem to be the prudent course. The “ministry” has been very good to Randy and Paula White. According to Tampa Bay Online, the home they own in Tampa is valued at $2.2 million dollars. Paula White recently purchased a Trump Towers condo in New York City valued at $3.5 million dollars. According to the accounting firm that handles the church’s finances, the White’s “were approved to take (an annual salary) up to $3 million dollars collectively” from the church.
Paula White was a recent guest on my radio program in Detroit. The bulk of our conversation was centered on the “me-centered” nature of her latest book, You’re All That: Understand God’s Design for Your Life, the thesis of which is: God designed you for your own fulfillment and happiness, which is in direct contradiction to Scripture which says God designed you for His own glory.

I am not going to go back and forth with any of you concerning her. She has gone to another level Rhoni, thanks for your comments.

You're welcome. I know there is always two sides to every story and she was one smart lady to get her degree before outing her husband. Women are the ones left in poverty with no way to support themselves.
I have always like Paula...she preaches much better than Randy. But I am sorry that he couldn't get the help he needed and straighten up and the marriage be salvaged. You know it isn't about looks...because Paula is as pretty as they come.
I could preach a while but I'd get in trouble. I am at work and thought I'd take a peek...glad I did.
Blessings, Rhoni

That is why only men who DON'T have such large "hands" should preach in the demonstrative style Sis. Paula has chosen. Note: Men with Large Hands should not preach in that demonstrative, strut your stuff style either.

It all depends on who you are and who you know.
