I'm from the old school and don't feel dressed up without hosiery on.

Are you ladies of the opinion you must dress up to attend a church service?

Huh? You can wear heels with almost anything!
I don't think I "must" dress up...but I like to dress up! I certainly don't think folks should go to church dressed in sloppy clothes, though. NICE casual clothes are alright.

I hate pantyhose. Blech. I only wear them on Sunday mornings! I can't seem to wear a pair more than one time without getting runs in them. Irritating.
I do like to wear tights in the wintertime, though.

No hose with sandals, here. No way! If I had to wear hose, I would NOT wear sandals.

What about being separate from the world? Sure there are women that wear skirts/dresses that are of this world. BUT if we, as apostolic women, want to remain separate we MUST be that way from the inside out. I don't want to look like this world. I want to look like the woman God made me to be. When you walk down the street and can't differentiate between the sexes until you look at them from the front (if then), something is not right. God made us with a distinction. Let us look that way too.
I, too, have skirts for ALL occasions. Gardening, play, biking, church,......even BED. Yes, that's right, no PJ pants here.

(Now I don't cut any of it) Anyway, the reason I stopped wearing the pants was because I had to be honest with myself. Who am I? What's my point in all this? Honestly, I wore them to be tough. I truly felt tough while wearing pants. If women who wear or have worn pants would think about it and be honest with themselves, they would see how dressing in that apparel makes them feel. I'm NOT saying that there aren't tough women in dresses. I've met and feared some. I'm saying that if we dress in a way that makes us look like women, we'll feel like the woman that God created us to be. I use to argue that there are women's pants. Why argue? Are there men's skirts? (Sure, in Scotland) Really, when we argue the point, it's just so we can fulfill our own fleshly desires. We're going to do what we want anyways. AND, you won't have to go too far to find someone that will agree with what you want to do.

I will just have to say I love wearing skirts but there are many times I feel I need to wear pants in order to be modest.
