Not at all! When I first started seeing this, I thought it was terrible (I was not taught this way)...but it seems like it's quite acceptable in most areas of UPC and I now see no harm in it whatsoever.

I agree...with the nasty West Nile virus running around, it would be awful not to. Kinda like the guy that died from not having a tetnus shot. Sad.

I let my daughter wear pants until she was walking. One of the ladies came up to me and said, "I was praying you'd take those things off of her."

I slapped her and sat down in my pew.

blahahahahhahahahaha! J/k!!!!!

Technically, you only need a Tetnus shot if you have a deep puncture wound that could close before it heals. Otherwise, it isn't necessary. I haven't had one since I was 14 and don't plan on getting one.

It was a reference to a thread started here not too long ago...about the man that died from stepping on a nail. He was of the order of folks that don't go to doctors. A tetnus shot would have saved his life.

go ahead and put the baby in the pants. Then rub her clothing down good with a sheet of Bounce so the mosquitoes won't bite her through the fabric. (that's supposed to work - seriously!)

If anyone would be offended by a baby for any reason, they need to find themself an altar somewhere and get their attitude straightened out. I'd say it would be shame on them, not shame on you!
