In the last couple of days I've pigged out on rice, steak, pork chops and tostones ... fried green plantains. I'm in HEAVEN.
My two brothers and their families will be driving down next week. I can't wait .... it's been almost 2 years since my kids have gotten to see all of 'em.
I've gone camera happy.... so in the next few days I'll be posting some.

Tostones?????? Oooooooooooooo! I hate you!!!  How about pasteles? Did you get to grub on some of them? Ay, Dios mio!! A comer!!!!

shouldn't take much to get "hooked up" you could even sign up for acts29tv. I just saw Pastor Joe Rios this weekend. Darcie, I am not financially supporting a church right now. I would be happy to make a donation if you give me some mailing info.

Mom is Dominican ... and never learned to cook pasteles ... although we always bought some for the holidays ....
