Only the finished work of Calvary remits sins. IN His blood we have redemption-forgiveness-remission however we experience this by obeying the gospel preached by the Apostles and JESUS said repentance and remission of sins would be preached in His name beginning at Jerusalem. The BLOOD paid the price an in that blood is the trail from the altar to the Holiest of All.

I believe most of the shadows of water in the OT refer to the Spirit of Christ ... the river of living water ... and also the Word ... Jesus is the Word that became flesh.
And the OIL symbolizes WHAT??????????????????????????

I am amazed to hear this notion among Pentecost that all scripture points to Acts 2:38
Gen. 1:2-3 gives a picture of Acts 2:38 the world(us) was without form and chaotic but the Spirit moved or brooded ON THE FACE OF THE WATER and GOD Said. SPIRIT-WATER-WORD-LIGHT. Water is in the Plan. God inspired it to be written that way. Not some Pentecostal preacher. BLOOD-WATER-OIL-FIRE read it and weep.

Hearing you adulterate scripture indeed is a reason for weeping ...

Scripture points to Jesus Christ ... its a sad day indeed when all scripture no longer points th Him, God's Plan of Salvation.

THEN maybe the BLOOD is symbolic of the Spirit and the literal blood of Christ accomplished NOTHING.

Note the difference:

Blood-water-spirit AGREE in ONE!!!!!!
Father-Word-Holy Ghost ARE ONE!!!!

Dan has the blood-water-spirit ARE one NOT AGREEING in ONE.

Simple lesson blood is NOT water-water is not blood-water is not spirit-spirit is not water-blood is not spirit-spirit is not blood they AGREE in ONE they ARE NOT ONE!

Jesus Christ (Who is the God who inspired the OT writings) included BLOOD-WATER-OIL-FIRE s don't weep He is NOT offended. He is our Saviour and His death by His blood purchased our salvational and we receive it in obedience of the gospel which is Acts 2:38.

The blood came from whom ...

You are not suggesting the blood [His], my water baptism [ me] and the Word [His] are the three witnesses that become One ... are you ...

You have again taken one verse to fit your doctrine .. yet ignore 1 John in context ...

There is no way ... that the water he refers to her is my water baptism or Christ's baptism ...

1 John 5:6

This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
