I prefer one older than myself, but would be willing to have one younger than me if necessary.

I am older than my current Pastor, that is ok because he is wiser than I am. He also has a teachable spirit and is very humble. I don't think age has a thing to do with it. At any age you can be submitted to God and have a servants attitude or you can have the opposite. Age is not a factor, but character, spirituality, compassion, and vision are very important.

Some of us are so old...we couldn't go to church if we didn't submit to someone younger than us!

I think that would be just fine with me.... I may cringe at a few mistakes, but no worries....

Age doesn't concern me. It's the "submit" and "pastor" part that I have difficulty with.

So I guess you can say that I am an equal opportunity rebel

Brad, a pastor's job isn't to make your decisions for you.
