So, you have considered yourself swine? I never called you that, but I have studied what the Word says about these things, so since you have no biblical backing, then you're right, it would be best for you to not respond to me anymore.

Amen Brother!!!! He doesn't know me, so he doesn't even know what I look like. I know that I do have the truth and I thank God for the revelations that He has given me.

Brethren,

Let's leave the Dress Discussion for another time.

Here is a helpful Thread on How To Ignore Someone

This is not license to get in a last potshot here either.

  • I've heard that some AOG churches will allow a person to be baptized in Jesus name, if it's specifically requested. Not many, but a few.
  • It is also known that numerous AOG folks have received the Spirit-filling, whether they have an accurate understanding of God or not.

That being said, could an AOG saint who has been baptized in Jesus name and received the Holy Ghost, be saved if they are living a repentant life with similiar holiness standards as some of the "wishy-washy" things openly proclaimed on AFF?

I'm not suggesting that it's probable; I'm only asking if it's theoretically possible.
Back to the subject of the Original Post.

What if the apostolic preacher is having an affair at the time that he baptizes this person? Will the baptism be effective?

The Trinitarian goes further because he was seeking through the word. I would guess we are talking about an individual who just didn't trip and fall into his understanding but came to it through study and prayer. If he or she is hungry for the truth they will find the truth.

The scripture speaks of those who will have the Spirit of truth would be guided into all truth. Those who made up the early Pentecostal movement in America came out of Denominations, and they became seekers. Denomination was formed that became the United Pentecostal Church International.

Now we still have people who are continuing to go forward unto truth.

In Jesus Name

So someone comes to God in the manner described in the first post, then immediately begins to search the scripture to see what is wrong with this new found freedom and hope and joy??? What's wrong with this church, something is just not right, I better go down the street to the OP church. Oh, yea this is more like it!!!
