Accountability-Do You Believe In It?

1 Corinthians 4

1.Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

2.Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

Do you believe in accountability, and in being accountable to someone?
After all, whether you believe in it or not you already have accountability in
your life.
You are accountable to your spouse, your children, your job, your Church.

Do you believe in being accountable to someone?

Most definitely! If you aren't accountable to someone, you could get yourself into a heap of trouble.....like a child who has no boundaries set for them....JMO

I believe that accountability is the best assurance of integrity.

Everyone should have a system of checks & balances at work in their lives.

Yes, do you believe it is Biblical though?

I believe you provided some biblical stand for accountability in your first post correct?

I believe that it is quintessentialy Christian (although I would have to do a study into the word on the subject) and speaks to integrity.

maybe out of context, but soo needful:

we are accountable to our brethren in the sense that:

...if we see a brother in a fault, we are commanded to restore them...
