Of all the UPC churches I've been in, Texas and Washington state, only one had a pastor who taught pre trib rapture. The others were either post trib or undecided, and in the undecided one probably half of the people were post trib.

Re: Upci gc
My experience in the UPC was every church I knew of was pre-trib. This included churches in Alaska, Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi as well as the UPC Bible College I graduated from. I am sure there are ones with other views but my personal experience and understanding is that historically pre-trib has been the dominant position in the UPC.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: Upci gc
My Pastor is pre-trib and so am I. But I also think that disagreement on this is not a heaven or hell issue. The vast majority of ministers and saints I have ever fellowshipped are pre-trib. In fact, I can't think of one who isn't.

It is a deception issue.
Read slowly.....
2 Thess 2: 1-4
1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Verse 3
Let no man DECEIVE you by any means....
So then it becomes a matter of can one be a deceiver and go to Heaven.

Re: Upci gc
I have a lot of good memories of General Conference from when I was growing up.
The last GC I attended was here in 2002. Prior to that it was 1996 in San Antonio, TX.
From birth until I left for college at 18, I attended every GC with my parents. We didn't go to Disneyland or other vacations -- GC and the drive to/from was our vacation.
